The two new usefull features are 3dsMax 2013 full compatibility MentalRay support In fact now is possible to use it inside the latest release of Autodesk 3ds Max and also is possible to take advantage of all the built-in features of the “free” mentalRay render engine.
Modeling and texturing 3D spaceship for Mobile Game
2012-04-12 05:34:00
After a year from its recording I've decided to release entirely for free my video tutorial about Modeling and Texturing of a 3D spaceship for Mobile Games. For this special purpose I've recorded some new chapters, explaining the difference between a standard DX9 and DX11 shader and a mobile shader. The course is based on the spaceship I realized for SFEI in addition to the material I designed in UDK and explained at the View Conference (3D Again wrote an article about it). At the moment I'm working as a university teacher in the 3 biggest design universities in Milano (Domus Academy – Scuola Politecnica di Design – NABA) and this videotraining is a proof of all the passion I put in the instruction. Please note that the entire video training is without music and voice, first of
My new 3ds Max Tool::Sisu Render
2012-03-20 10:15:00
I have almost finished my new script for Autodesk 3ds Max, it’s name is Sisu Render. Sisu is a tool for tenacious people that everyday have to fix thousand parameters inside VRay. Sisu render is the “one button” solution that imporve your render quality, your speed, the balance of the hardawre resources and your productivity. I got the idea of this tool when i was coming back after some amazing day spent with a special person in Jyvaskyla, Finland. Sisu there is a common word that expresses the moral will and the soul stregth in everyday difficult actions…I thought the name, Sisu Render, was somehow perfect for this new tool :) here are some screens of the tool in action, I still have to fix and refine some functionality but the biggest work has been done. The im

Nothing Inside - My new album is out
2010-10-05 15:23:00
YES! Finally my last album is out!!My new cd name is Nothing Inside, and is a full album with 11 great tracks. This is my 2nd solo project; the first one was wronGrown, but the style is changed a lot. Now my tracks are better composed and balanced, you can listen or dance them. The sound quality is more clear and the mood is less depressive than the previous one ;) I received lot of feedbacks from wronGrown, and crafted Nothing Inside with these suggestions in mind. You can listen a preview and buy the album (or some single track) from iTunes or Amazon. Let me hear your feedback, they will be really important for my next musical work.ENJOY IT!
Project manager
2010-10-05 15:04:00
I got a proposal to work on a software as project manager. Actually, for obvious reasons, I can’t write about the software and the agency. I can only say that I should manage the development of a cool iOS (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch) and Android based application. The committee is a software house with some offices in Italy, and I’m really happy about this proposal. It’s a long time that I work at PlaySys, and a new project for a direct customer is really exciting. Plus this new experience can make my skills stronger in software development direction. I’ll be back soon with some news about this position.
P.UV.E. - A simple script
2010-06-07 14:22:00
There are really complex and really useful scripts, like TexTools, SolidRocks, RappaTools, SnowFlow, Batch Camera Render and lot other, and there are sometime simple scripts that can do a single operation, apparently stupid, in short time. This is the case of P.UV.E. a simple/stupid 200 kb script I wrote yesterday and that let me save lot of time (or at least, lot of click). The script simply extract a 2048x2048 UV texture from a selected object, it does nothing more and nothing less. It’s force is in the simplicity and in the quick accessibility. It is fired from a button on my UI and permits me to save an UV in 1 click respect the traditional method that requires 7 clicks. You can say that I’m lazy, and sometime it’s right, but when I have to manage about 250 UV per day, this become
