Ancient Sumerian tablets describe an alien race, known as the Anunnaki, who came to Earth to mine for gold. Egyptian hieroglyphs depict hybrid creatures that were part man, part animal. Mysterious crop circles and unexplainable crystal skulls are thought to contain messages that man has yet to decipher. Strange evidence may exist in multiple cultures throughout history suggesting that aliens came here to explore, excavate raw materials, experiment on human beings, and even for pure conquest. A 13th century historical book, Otia Imperialia, includes an account of a creature descending from a flying craft over Bristol, England. The log from Christopher Columbus' first voyage to America contains a report of strange lights in the sky. Medieval art pieces depict disc-shaped objects floating in the heavens. Sightings of flying cigar-shaped crafts were reported during the Black Plague. And there were even discussions of extraterrestrial life among America's Founding Fathers. Since we have a Mormon as a front runner for the US presidency on the Republican ticket, and a former ambassador to China who just happens to be a former governor of Utah as well, you might want to familiarize yourself with something called “The White Horse Prophecy,” which appears to be simultaneously both a part of, and not a part of, official Mormon belief. I was raised in a Mormon household. My father was a very active in the church and was a high councilman in our area of Salt Lake City. He used to talk about Mormon history and writings extensively. I can confirm that the doctrine Joseph Smith mentioned was taught in my Mormon experience. I remember many times in the 70′s when my father would about the prophecies of the “last days”. It would be social and economic chaos...town against town and city against city...the constitution would "hang by a thread"...the Mormon male priesthood would step in and restore things...and yep, it amounted to a Mormon theocracy. They came in unto them and they bore children called the Nephilim. (Giants/Seed of the Serpent) The Fallen Angels mating with the daughters of man was controversial and eventually censored by the early church fathers of Christianity due to the impending celibacy of monks. However, it has survived through Jewish rabbincal traditions and is mentioned by historians and biblical writings in the Christian canon. *The apocryphal texts are not to be taken as biblical canon. However understanding the history of ancient jewish teaching helps us gain a broader picture of what may have happened.
