Prescription of Offenses

Prescription of offenses is necessary in order to know if there is still time to file a case against a person. Once a case has prescribed, you can no longer file against another person. According to Article 91 of the Revised Penal Code: "The period of prescription shall commence to run from the day on which the crime is DISCOVERED by the offended party, the authorities, or their agents, and shall be interrupted by filing of the complaint or information, and shall commence to run again when such proceedings terminate without the accused being convicted or acquitted, or are unjustifiably stopped for any reason not imputable to him." Besides, filing of complaint with prosecutor's office or MTC for purposes of preliminary investigation interrupts the running period of prescription of offense charged. Nigeria's new President is named Goodluck Jonathan. Indeed, he is very lucky to be the new President of Nigeria. As young as 52 years old, Goodluck Jonathan is set to lead a country in the other part of the globe. Having a degree in Zoology is a nice start to enter into politics. After all, our primary concern is the state of our planet earth. Goodluck Jonathan then worked as an environmental officer before embarking a long yet lucky journey to politics. He is a prolific and witty politician. In fact, he ran as deputy governor for Bayelsa state in 2001 which is one of Nigeria's main oil-producing states in the oil-rich Niger Delta region. For one thing, I dared to reach my dreams with minimal resources. In fact, blogging is not really a fave hobby. I came to love blogging when I decided to reinvent myself. But my biggest dream is still hanging there because I was unable to reach it. I stopped dreaming for a while, after such big failure. Indeed, I followed this mantra: rest if you must, but don't you quit. It hurts to see your dreams crumble right before your eyes and your only choice is start all over again. I need to go through the same agony again. I need to increase my endurance and hold on to my faith. And this time, I dare to win the race! Exactly, I do not have a choice but to pick up the sword and fight again. There are moments that I can feel the unfairness of the situation. Is there such a thing as luck? And where in this world can I find miracles to let me survive? I dared to dream because I knew all along that I can make it. But when? God only knows. I know I have to face countless battles from now

The Book of Eli is a wonderful futuristic film. I mean, the story was set more than two decades ahead of the current year. The setting of the film is very unique and compelling. Why? It is as if various calamities passed prior to the portrayal of Denzel Washington's character. The environment is filthy and close to being barren. I noticed that most people of that era are robbers and swindlers. Denzel Washington's character has been fooled twice by a whining lady who is always calling someone to help her fix something. The problem starts to surface when a group of men begin ravaging their victim. I wrote this piece because I am just curious on what will be the condition of our planet in the future. I never seen a single tree in the film The Book of Eli. The people know nothing about decency and order. If the Book of Eli is the last bible in that era, then it is obvious that such book was unknown to the people. It still has to be shared. For some reasons, we tend to keep our know

Goemon movie reviews commonly reflected the noticeable "video game feel" of the film. Goemon is amazing! The movie is very interesting since the story is centered on lust of political power against peace. The theme is notable wherein Goemon taught the young boy to be strong, stronger than him. For always, being strong is the only way to protect everything that you love. That young boy lost his mother because of the mysterious box that has been stolen from a huge mansion. And that mysterious box stored various calamities, famine, sufferings and anguish. When opened, all people will definitely suffer. Goemon is directed by Kazuaki Kiriya and top billed by Yosuke Eguchi. Its excellent mix of CG animation is notable. When characters are focused, they seemed humans. But when characters are not focused, CG animation applies. I remembered young boys playing samurai video games in my fave Internet cafe in town. The soundtrack is also fascinating. The whole production set matches the "video
