Kimmy Sharing Light
embrace change, imperfection and the ups and downs of life. I live for accountability and enlightenment. I started this journal when I lost a friend of mine. He felt there was no way out. He felt that circumstances could not be changed. Soul searching and self discovery comes from within. However, much can be learned from everyone around you. I find that with a record of events, one can seek to learn from previous steps and stop running the same circle. Getting the facts on screen makes it easier to see my accomplishments and failures.

Entrecard and my fellow bloggers

With Adgitize gone, it reminds me how I still love Entrecard. I don't love Entrecard for page views. Even when I spend the 10 bucks on impressions, it's not to get more hits. It's to find wonderful people, ideas, help, suggestions. I don't mind helping support Entrecard now and then. Even with Facebook, Twitter, My Blog Log (wait isn't that gone too) and many other blogger/wordpress advertisers gone, who keeps the NEW people viewing? Even Facebook's NetworkedBlogs is great, however, I recently saw I followed 145 blogs. How many do I visit through Facebook? My friends that post the links. I have met more wonderful people here, to begin the journey. When I add these friends to Facebook, it only strengthens the person to me. Seeing the "Human" behind the writing, and who they are, and what they strive to be. Sharing light with Kimmy. Okay.. off topic, cause we aren't at the Spring 2012 Good Luck Alyssa post.. she doesn't start again until 1/16/2012. Five classes.. INSANE with working full time if you ask me!! But she picked up this McHenry County College Monkey up when she picked up her books today. I WANT ONE! Sharing light with Kimmy. Peace in our Hearts

Communication is the key to peace. We try with all our might to make it more complicated. Whether it is with our world leaders or our neighbors next door to us, communication is the key to open our hearts to one another. Without verbally opening up to each other, how can we know how we feel? Yes, the time is coming soon where we will be able to communicate without words. We will look into each others eyes and will know the feelings in each others hearts at a glance. What a wondrous time that will be. There will be no more secrets. We will be open with our thoughts, free to let each other know what we think. This is already starting to happen. We are beginning to use the tools. We are re-membering what a natural feeling this is only to be stopped by our human thoughts of fear. "What if they don't like what I am saying? What if I hurt their feelings with my truth? Things happen for a reason! We dare not, question why! We may not ever know, the answer and time, just passes by. No matter how we access it, these things, still remain a blank. If it's bad, we don't want to know, but should it be good, who, do we thank? Whichever it may be, we have to take it. For if you wager a guess, chances are, you'll not win. Just keep in mind, whatever happens in our lives, is all about destiny. There's not much you can do, to change it, so live your life, in harmony. Definition of WHIRLWIND 1. : a small rotating windstorm of limited extent 2. : a confused rush : Whirl <a whirlwind of meetings> 3. : a violent or destructive force or agency When you seek, you shall find. In my chaotic few weeks, I have struggled to find an explanation, and/or answers how to get past this without lashing out. Then..this was shared with me late last night. Names have been removed because this is advice to ME, not them. "You are pissed off and frustrated because none of them are behaving the way you think they should. You are still being sucked in by this dysfunctional merry-go-round……you are still emotionally and detrimentally enmeshed in this. If you want to get untangled from this mess, you will have to change your reaction, and thought process to maintain your mental health and find some peace. Your anger serves no good purpose. You need to let go; give it to God…

I think this post has been coming for a while now. We live in a communication haven, (heaven), lol. However we also have lived in a "don't ask don't tell" type of world. Many people choose to look the other way, instead of engage in conflict, challenge others, or simply do what is right. The Penn State scandal proved that to us. Say nothing, because it will hurt the "school", because the "school's image" was more important that the crimes to children. Sadly, I have dealt with this in my career, and in my personal life. We are suppose to allow people to abuse others, simply because no one wants to deal with the abuser. Let's bow down to the screamer and the yeller, and hope we get back to normal soon. How nice would it be to put the abuser in his/her place, and force them to face consequences? I am tired of being "quiet"! What does that get me? NOTHING. My elders taught me to "take care of myself", and "stand up for myself", however today, they

Communication Breakdown

Exhausted. Why am I so stressed and exhausted? Because it seems that if I don't referee communication in my family, extended and non extended, nothing is said, and I live in silence. Which for me is a fate worse than death. In order to stop being the mediator, I have to learn to accept the silence, as it is not mine to control. I can feel the energy waves in the room, and it is like a boxing ring, or worse, a Soap Opera drama atmosphere. It's only 6pm, and I wish to just go to bed, and escape this silence. Do I feel the others in the room, wanting me to break the silence and open the lines up? Is that my duty, my job, my destiny? lol. OR.. do I publish this post, and get some chocolate chip COOKIES!!!
