Let me ask you something! How come more and more people around us are "on a diet", yet we are getting fatter and fatter every day? Are you on a low calories bandwagon too, or have you already given up? If that's so... and there's a good chance that it is, don't feel bad. It's not your fault diets don't work! In the following video, Dr. Whiting talks about the reasons why diets fail: without understanding how our bodies handle food, no diet can ever work. Simply eating less calories - a most common diet advice - will not cause weight loss for everybody. Some people do overeat, but many of us suffer from excess insulin production - so even when you eat low calorie diet, insulin will convert blood sugar in triglycerides and store it - as fat. That's why your diet don't work!
