Driving Under the Influence… Without Actually Dr

Many people do not realize that they can be charged with DUI in South Florida without even having driven at all. That statement may sound ridiculous when you consider that DUI stands for “driving under the influence.” However, Section 316.193(1) of the Florida Statutes makes it a crime for a person to be driving or in actual physical control of a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
